This new album is a milestone in many ways!
It celebrates the rebirth of the groups Los Incas and Urubamba, carrying forward the artistic vision of Jorge Milchberg. The musicians of both ensembles are proud and honored to keep alive, develop, and transmit the passion, craftsmanship, and depth of the Maestro’s arrangements and compositions.
Moreover, it is the first time that both groups come together on a single album, after decades of parallel musical journeys—one in Europe, the other in Argentina.
Los Incas, founded in Paris in 1956 and led by Jorge for over sixty years, has welcomed more than fifty musicians over the course of its history. Today, the group is represented in Europe by Olivier Milchberg, Moises Arnaiz, Maria Elena Medina, and Pablo Cruz.
Urubamba was founded during the collaboration with Paul Simon in New York in 1973, and later reformed in Buenos Aires in 1981. Today, the group is represented in South America by Olivier Milchberg, Pablo Trosman, Fidel Guigui, Juan Gau, Teresa Mendez, and Walter Arjona.

Every note, every breath, and every rhythm on this album is imbued with a deep respect for the indigenous Andean musical traditions. Each musician serves these sacred melodies, connecting with ancestral roots to uncover a new and profound expression, in a subtle balance between artistic discipline and joyful spontaneity.
